In case you missed SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, or were watching and didn’t have it turned up loud enough, or didn’t catch the instrumental thumping behind the crowd…. but maybe you heard this voice go “tell me I’m Wonderful” and wondered “is that Cindy?” – yes it was 🙂 I am SO PROUD that I got to sing (and Chip Moreland and Dave Darling got to get their groove on) behind one of my favorite auditions of the night: Sam Shreffler, an autistic young man from Texas. I thought that the subject of special needs/autism was treated with respect and sensitivity, and the segment reiterated the fact that creative expression is medicine for the soul. GO SAM!!!!
